Welcome!

I am always looking for portable, small games for the girls to play when we are out to eat. I am not anti- devices for the kiddos, frankly I love them, phones/tablets have saved my sanity more than once. BUT, I am anti-tablet/phone/devices when we are out to lunch or dinner.  I want the girls to talk and engage with us; however they are still young and I respect their attention spans are not great for a long dinner or lunch.  I bring games, dolls, etc and now we take along our very own tic tac toe set.  The girls helped make the kit which makes them love it even more.

Materials:
Air Dry Clay  (you can also try a oven dry clay for it to be ready faster, but I had air dry on hand) 
Silicone Mold (I used pineapple & I included mroe fun summery ones in the shop post above!)
Craft Paint
Paint Brush
Muslin Drawstring Bag

Fill the silicon mold with air dry clay.  (the kiddos can help here!)

The hard part- wait for it to dry for 2-3 days.
Remove from mold.
Paint.

Let dry.

Draw your tic tac toe lines on bag, let dry.

Play!

Fill your bag on up and take along for a compact easy game for the kiddos to enjoy (or you- I am still a big fan of Tic Tac Toe)

These are not unbreakable, if your two year old gets mad that she cannot be the pink pineapple and throws a yellow pineapple on the ground in anger, the top of the pineapple may break off.  But, I call that a “teachable” moment.
