DIY Marble & Wood Toilet Paper Holder

In a couple days, I will be revealing my guest/kid bathroom! I loved finding the perfect items for the bathroom and when I could not find the perfect item, I DIY-ed it! I thought I was done with the bathroom and loved the marble and wood look I had throughout the room and we noticed (we, as in Nick & I, even he noticed) the toilet paper holder we had did not match at all and stood out like a sore thumb. I tried to find a wood one to match and after searching, decided to DIY one because I could not find anything I liked. I based the design on my DIY marble and wood hooks. I added the rope element to stay within the natural aesthetics of the bathroom design.  The toilet paper holder was very easy to make, inexpensive and it made the bathroom complete!

Materials:

Marble Hexagon Tile
Dowel Screws
Strong Glue
1 inch Wood Dowel-  Cut into 3.5 Inches
Rope- 26 inch length
Key Hook

Glue the dowel to the back of the marble hexagon tile and allow to dry.

Drill a hole into the wood dowel and place dowel screw in.

Tie one end of the rope to key hook.

Tie other end to key hook.

Screw the holder into the wall and add toilet paper! (Unhook rope, add toilet paper, and hook again)

I know a toilet paper holder is not the most exciting thing in world, haha, but it is the little things that can make a difference in a room, right? Cannot wait to show you the rest of the bathroom!
