These heart balloons can be made year round, but are especially cute during Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day!
Paint splatter is SUCH a fun technique, I love using it- I used paint splatter to make jewelry dishes and wrapping paper.
It is very easy to do, messy and fun.
Materials:
Heart Balloons
Paint
Water
Paint Brush
Tape
Surface you can get paint all over! (paper, dropcloth, etc)
I purchased my heart balloons already inflated from the dollar store, so I needed to tape the balloon down to my surface to paint.
Add some water to your paint, make it a bit runny, not TOO runny, just a spoonful or so of water will do. Dip your brush into the paint and the best way to get the splatter is to “flick” the brush with your fingers and move around balloon. So, so fun!!
Let balloon dry and repeat on other side. When drying I suggest keeping it taped down so the paint does not drip when floating on ceiling!
