I was supposed to shoot and upload this cocktail last week, but I got sick and am now rushing this pink cocktail for Valentine’s Day. I mean it is a totally perfect pink cocktail for most any holiday- a beautiful wedding shower, bachelorette party cocktail- or any girl’s night out you have planned. Or any day, Nick loves pink cocktails, so it is not just a girl thing.

A classic French 75 cocktail is made with champagne but it is Valentine’s / Galentine’s Day this week and why not switch it up and have some rosé for a pink cocktail.

Ingredients-
Dry Sparkling Rosé
Gin
Lemon Juice
Splash of Grenadine
Optional- rose petals and lemon peel twist for garnish

If you are a purist with cocktails and want a classic french 75, you can add a dash of grenadine to a sparkling wine and it will add a splash of pink.

I skip the simple syrup for this cocktail recipe, as I do not like my drinks very sweet and I think the splash of grenadine adds just enough sweetness for me. Alternatively, you can pick up a sweet rosé or just add some simple syrup, I think the grenadine works great though.
