I wanted to join in on sharing my favorite Halloween books with the rest of the cool blog crowd.
Over the past couple years for the kids- I purchased many Halloween books to encourage reading and make Halloween even more fun. Wrapping the Halloween books as a surprise adds to the excitement.
This year I made a little ghost wrapping paper. I printed at two different locations- Walgreens & Staples- Staples it came out beige and I was annoyed, but I ended up loving it! Walgreens was true to color.
The paper is thick for wrapping paper but works great- the difference is I use a packing tape instead of scotch tape to close up the wrapping paper.
Here is the image if you wish to make it a fun wallpaper on your phone! The kids favorite books are down below if you want to check out my list with some uncommon Halloween books!
Now onto our favorite Halloween Books-
Baby/toddler friendly
B is for Boo– made by the Babylit folks who make the cutest baby books. The illustrations are so cute and the alphabet book of themed Halloween words are so cute!
Spooky Wheels on the Bus– the Halloween version of Wheels in the Bus! Warning- I probably have read this to Cole a thousand times- he loves it and won’t let us read anything else!
Halloween Coloring Book– I have to be honest I loved the cover 😂 therefore I bought it, we keep all our Halloween books in a basket in our living room and this is filled with cute illustrations and a cover I can deal with aesthetically. Not all the books have cute covers but this is a winner.
The usual Halloween books you have probably seen everywhere
The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt
The Bad Seed Presents: The Good, the Bad, and the Spooky
Happy Halloween reading!
