Thrifty Thursday is here already! Today is not a find but a tip- When in doubt, put it in your cart!
An item at a thrift store is typically a rare find and you probably will not find it another day or even within 30 minutes of seeing it.
I add everything I lull over to my cart and then before purchasing, I go through each item and make my decision to buy or not to buy.
I learned the HARD way. Sigh, I spotted a beautiful condition vintage red wagon… decided to think about it and walked away. When I went back ten minutes later- it was gone and in someone else’s cart!
No wagon for Kalia 🙁 and an important lesson for me!
Do you have any regret stories?
I refer to this as the Moscow Rule of Shopping. Pretend you are in a foreign country and if you don't put it in your basket right now you will never be back to get it. Shopping is so brutal.Lost out on a Lanvin handbag that way.
Lanvin!?! Omgosh!! Way worse than a wagon, lol!
I love this! You're so right 🙂
At first I was confused until I read the part about this taking place in a thrift shop.
Thank you for popping by from SITS 🙂
Thank you for popping back!
It's not exactly the same thing, but just today I has to pass up a dresser at a tag sale that was free because it wouldn't fit in the car. It was in pretty bad shape but I had a vision. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Oh Doreen, that stinks! I would be so upset!
Oh my goodness I completely agree with this!! It's happened to me one too many times!
