This is a sponsored post on behalf of Habitat for Humanity’s Home is the Key campaign and its corporate partners.
I am very excited to be participating for the 2nd year in a row to share Habitat for Humanity’s Home is the Key campaign! I believe so strongly in their mission- ensuring everyone has a safe home! Habitat for Humanity does not give away homes, they work with future homeowners to build and create their homes and then pay an affordable mortgage. They provide financial education and training to put them on the path towards success. I absolutely love that they are teaching skills to create a home, maintain and stay financially stable- creating a home where love, family and hope lives.
I love the story shared by Krushetta on the Home is Key website- She shares her excitement on becoming a homeowner! She wants a yellow door- “Because it’s bright and it stands for my future. That’s what it’s going to represent.” And she cant wait for a yard that she will make her boys mow every week, lol.
Krushetta got me thinking about our yard and how it is a beautiful part of what we call home. Our kids run and play hide and seek, we grill and enjoy beautiful weather with family, and we garden and plant herbs, trees and flowers. We bring all these inside our home- our fresh grapefruits, lemons and oranges from our citrus trees taste better than any store. I made some mini gifts to give to our new neighbors to share our love for our home and Arizona. I gathered some fresh citrus and a decorative bowl for a welcome to your new home in Arizona gift!
We may not all have fresh citrus trees growing in our yard, so I made another gift basket representative of Arizona to share with neighbors or anyone new to Arizona!
What could you make to share your home with others? Share what you love about YOUR home using the hashtag- #HomeIsTheKey for every social share, Nissan will donate $5 to Habitat, toward a total donation of $250,000- tweet, instagram, facebook and share what home means to you with the hashtag and you will help raise money & awareness!

Post sponsored by Habitat for Humanity- thank you for supporting sponsors who keep ABL going and give me the opportunity to share such wonderful campaigns that help people in need!
What a sweet way to celebrate a housewarming! Both versions of the basket look so inviting. And I love hearing about your family’s enjoyment of your yard and garden. What a great partnership with Habitat for Humanity!
Thank you so much!
