“Witch’s Spell” Kid Science Experiment Halloween Free Printable

witch spell recipe for kids

My first instagram reel showed a fun science experiment for kids and we added a Halloween twist to it by using a cauldron to make it look like a witch’s spell!

The science experiment is so simple and even Cole, my two year old can do it! Also, I made a spelling error in video- let’s just say my first reel was VERY stressful, lol, and I did not notice after it was published and viewed.

Witch’s Spell Ingredients:
Cauldron (or any bowl)

Large Cup
2 Cups White Vinegar
1/4 cup of baking soda
Drops of dishwashing liquid
Couple drops of food coloring (if you want to make it a color)
Use liquid drops, not gel food coloring

Towel/Plastic Tablecloth (or any thing underneath cauldron for the liquid to fall on for easy clean up)

Add baking soda to cauldron

Combine vinegar, dishwashing liquid and food coloring in cup

Pour liquid mixture into the cauldron and watch the boiling cauldron grow!
